Our Story
A lawyer who chose the land.
RK Agro Estate is the work of one person's decision to trade the courtroom for the orchard — and to grow fruit most people said couldn't be grown here.
Ronak Kanungo earned his law degree from O.P. Jindal Global University in 2018 and went on to practise for five years. But agriculture had always run through the family, and the longer he spent away from the land, the stronger its pull became.
In 2018 he took his first real step into commercial farming. By 2023 the choice was made — he committed to it full-time and planted his first avocado orchard that same year. To do it properly, he sought out mentors in Israel, the world's most advanced avocado-growing country, and studied their approach to nutrition, fertigation and orchard management first-hand.
What we grow today
That first orchard has since been joined by a second avocado planting and by thousands of dragon fruit plants raised on a modern trellis system. Across roughly ten acres in Bhopal, RK Agro Estate now produces two premium fruits — avocados and dragon fruit — grown with the same care and shipped across India.
Sharing what we learn
Farming this fruit in central India meant solving problems with little local precedent. Ronak documents the journey openly on the “R.K Agro Estate” YouTube and Instagram channels, and welcomes growers, officials and the simply curious to the orchard itself.

“Good fruit can't be rushed. The trees set the pace; we just keep up.”
— Ronak Kanungo, Founder
